The deviations we have taken vis-a-vis our competitors are a direct results of the dissatisfaction consumers have experienced with e-commerce. Specifically we have tried to address the top 3 concerns of consumers, which appear in all the consumer studies conducted by reputable research organizations.

Privacy and Trust
Consumers are concerned about the types of information being collected and how they are being used. As well, they are concerned about the security of financial information submitted such as credit card numbers.

First and foremost our organization does not release individually identifiable information on our customers to any third party without the expressed permission of that customer. Second we do not accept credit card information online. Third each customer has direct access to all the information that they have provided to us through our web-application.

Website Ease of Use
Many consumers find it frustrating navigating some of the most well known websites and consider it very difficult to find the specific items that they would like to purchase. By utilizing the most powerful technologies in our web-application, we make online grocery shopping a breeze.

Our customers enjoy advanced software features that allow them to find and select products through multiple search methods. They are able to view pictures and nutritional information on an item by item basis thereby speeding up the shopping process, they also have access to all their past orders and can provide shopping instructions on an item by item basis. If TeleGrocer makes a shopping mistake, which could happen, our clients are able to generate automatic complaints wizard to provide feedback and receive instant credit refunds.

Convenient and Timely Delivery
Convenience is the primary motivation for consumers when deciding to buy online. Unfortunately the evidence on how well e-commerce companies are delivering on this promise is decidedly mixed. A key component of the TeleGrocer system is its delivery network. Our customers are able to select the specific date and time that they would like delivery of their purchases. Designed into our web-application are "smart technologies" that have built-in logistic components that allow for on-the-fly load balancing and scheduling.
